About GOSS: Georgia Organization for Student Success

Who Is GOSS?

GOSS is the Georgia chapter of the National Organization for Student Success (NOSS) and comprised of instructors, staff, and administrators from all levels of education in the state.

EDUCATIONAL MISSION

Like its parent organization, NOSS, GOSS's mission is straightforward.  GOSS exists to assist education professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of students.

  • providing professional development,
  • supporting student learning,
  • providing public leadership,
  • disseminating exemplary models of practice,
  • coordinating efforts with other organizations,
  • facilitating communication among developmental education professionals, and
  • anticipating trends.
